It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Ian P. Shumsky, who departed from us on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 74. Ian was a beloved figure whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. His presence will be sorely missed by family and friends alike, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
To honor Ian’s remarkable life and the love he imparted, a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Deliverance Evangelistic Church, situated at 2001 W. Lehigh Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132. The viewing will begin at 9:00 am, followed by a heartfelt service at 11:00 am. After the service, interment will take place privately, in a moment of quiet reflection.
As we navigate this time of sorrow, we invite you to remember Ian’s spirit, which will continue to echo in the lives he touched. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they celebrate the beautiful life he lived, filled with love and cherished moments.
