Elder Charles E. Wise, Sr., a revered minister and beloved husband, passed away peacefully in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, on October 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on January 24, 1951, in Los Angeles, California, Charles displayed a deep passion for life and service from an early age.
Charles was known for his dedication to his faith and community, proudly serving as a Minister of the Gospel. His commitment to uplifting others through his ministry left a lasting impact on many lives. Coupled with his profound spiritual leadership was his unwavering support of the Philadelphia Eagles, showcasing his spirited nature and love for his local team.
In addition to his ministry, Charles served his country honorably in the United States Marines, earning the respect of those around him through his dedication and service.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Leanne, who cherished their time together and the life they built as partners. Their bond, reflective of mutual support and love, served as a testament to the lasting impact of a devoted relationship.
Family and friends will gather to honor Charles' life during a series of services. A viewing will be held on October 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Heart of God Family Worship Center located at 201 North Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA. Following this, the Home Going Service will take place on the same day at 10: 45 AM. The burial service will occur on October 9, 2025, at the Second Baptist Church Cemetery, 15 Old Douglass Drive, Douglassville, PA .
Charles E. Wise, Sr. leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and service, one that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.
