Ian Carlos Skinner
December 11, 1960 - December 29, 2025
Ian Carlos Skinner of North Easton, passed away on December 29, 2025, shortly after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma. A man defined by his warmth, kindness and affability, Ian was the beloved brother and inseparable best friend of Sonia L. Skinner of North Easton, and the younger brother of Harriett Jordan of Croydon, Surrey, England. He is reunited with his ancestors, his beloved Mother Rubena Rose Skinner, and his aunts, Doreen, Sylvie, Jean, and Maudrey.
Ian graduated from the Wentworth Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, where he was on the tennis team. Ian dedicated much of his time to the service of others. He became a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit and served as its treasurer. He also served on the Church's Vestry and Finance Committee. His commitment to his community was also evident through his work tutoring students in Robert Moses' program and his time spent preparing food for local outreach. Ian was an enthusiastic international traveler and a patron of the arts. He was an avid supporter of Liverpool Football Club, the Dallas Cowboys, and the New England Patriots. He had a marvelous sense of humor and always made people laugh. Ian will be lovingly remembered as a charming, generous, affable man who never hesitated to help a stranger or a neighbor in need.
Visiting Hours will be at the Church of the Holy Spirit 525 River St, Boston, MA 02126 on Saturday January 31, 2026 from 9-10 AM followed by burial services at the Coweeset Cemetery in Brockton, MA.
