Obituary published on Legacy.com by Whitt Funeral Home & Oakcrest Cremation Center on Aug. 22, 2024.
Ida Victoria "Vicky" Cline was born in Carter County, Oklahoma on September 19, 1926 to Lee Franklin and Estella Mae (Akers) Spencer. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2024 in Duncan at the age of 97.
A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 26, at Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery with John Crume, Julius Sitchon, Jack Spencer, Jimmy Spencer, Ethan Swindler, and Len Gardner serving as pallbearers.
Vicky graduated from Rexroat High School and worked in the financial accounting department at Halliburton for 37 years. She married Clifford Cline in Winfield, Kansas in 1947. Together, they enjoyed camping, fishing, water skiing, and traveling. After Clifford passed away in 2001, Vicky enjoyed working in her flower beds, gardening, traveling with her friends all over the United States, and playing with her dogs. Her family was her biggest joy and loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; son, Dewayne; parents; and brothers: Charles Spencer and Hershel Spencer.
Survivors include her grandsons, Dean Cline and David Cline; and great-grandson, Conner Cline and wife Jade. She is also survived by a surrogate (niece) daughter, Vicky Rupp and husband Jim, and Vicky's family.
