Ida Mae Davis

Ida Mae Davis, 78, died Tues. Aug. 9, 2011 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Pamplico, SC, she lived in Plainfield over 50 years. Ms. Davis was employed with Dow Brand Chemical Co. in Piscataway for 16 years before retiring. Prior to that she was employed with Art Colors Printing in Dunellen. She was a former member of Friendly Church of Christ in Plainfield. She was preceded in death by a sister Sallie Mae Davis. Surviving are a daughter Rosa L. Davis-Tawiah (Theo); two sons Ronie Davis and Rahsaan J. Davis (Roxie); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two brothers Richard Davis and Rev. James (J.D.) Davis; three sisters Almeter Saunders , Rev. Bessie M. McIntyre and Ernestine Feaster. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Ida Mae Davis.
