Ida Mae Girten, 91, of Paducah passed away at 9:55 PM on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, IL.
Mrs. Girten worked at C.T.S. of Paducah and was a member of Symsonia Baptist Church in Symsonia.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Johnna (Mikey) Myers. great granddaughters Finley & Mallory (Nick Hatton), grandson Kevin (Irma) Massey, great grandchildren Taylor, Tristan (Kaci) Massey (great great grandsons Setter & Riley Massey), Son-in-law, Steve Frick, granddaughter Tyra Frick, great grandchildren (Emily & Caleb Cornwell), granddaughter Annie Suiter (Jamison Clark) great grandchildren Bailey & Bryce (Taylor) Suitor, Jett Clark, niece Karen (chuck) Rouleau, niece Pam Hopper, great nephew Matthew Hopper, great-great nephews Chase & Brian Hopper, niece Sandy Drouillard, great nephew Ryan Drouillard (Jill) great great nieces Scarlett & Ruby Drouillard, granddaughter Kim Rennie, great-grandson Michael (Jessica) Yasso great-great grandson Luca, great grandson Josh Yasso, granddaughter Kelly Durst (Larry), great granddaughters Janae Durfee, Kaitlyn Durfee, granddaughter Dawn Girten great granddaughters Lauren & Claire, granddaughter - Davena Stefanides (Joe) Great Grandsons Joey & Derek Stefanides, son David (Sheri) Cook grandchildren Josh, Jacob, Jesse & Jenna Cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Girten; parents, David Francis and Myrtle (Pogrant) Francis; one sister, Evelyn Whiteaker; one daughter, Elaine Frick.
There will be no service or visitation held at this time.
