Ida Passwaters Obituary
Ida Mae Passwaters, 81, Dover, passed away on July 11, 2024 at home with her family. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Mildred Wells.
Mrs. Passwaters had a love for children, she spent over 40 years working in the daycare industry before retiring from her own daycare. Although she could be shy, she always had time to talk to kids and never seemed to meet a stranger. She attended The Last Call church for many years.
Mrs. Passwaters enjoyed collecting bears and owls, watching hallmark movies, and playing games with her grandson, Tanner. The kindness and love of Mrs. Passwaters will not be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Michael; brother, Bucky Wells, and a sister, Libby Dever.
Mrs. Passwaters is survived by her children, Robin Peterson, Denise Kimbro, and Darlene Plummer; grandchildren, David, Amber (Chuck), Chris, Dena (Jeff), Alex, and Tanner (Amaya); great grandchildren, Cassie, Adelyn, and Evelyn; sisters, Frances Denham and Emma Wells; sister in law, Martha Wells; and extended family, Charles Dubois and Marty Kastel.
A celebration of life service will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington at 1 PM. A visitation will take place one hour prior, starting at 12 Noon.
Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington.

Ida was my daughter Danielle´s daycare worker 31 years ago. Danielle learned Ida before she could say mommy. Fond memories of Ida. Condolences to her family.
