My prayers for comfort, peace, Strength and healing go out to Shiela and the Taylor family. Ida was always a blessing and a ray of sunshine every time you would walk into the Construction Office at the DOT. She was always encouraging, helpful and a joy to be around. I will never forget her smile and her laugh. Ida is one of those one in a million people that you meet in your lifetime. God Bless you and keep you all in His care. Jesus promised that you would be comforted in Matthew 5:4 in which He said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

I had the pleasure of working with Ida for many years at DOT. She was universally liked and respected, with good reason. Her kindness and generosity were defining characteristics. Over the years, she donated several of the blankets she crocheted to be given away during our annual charitable giving campaigns. Please accept my sincere condolences.

It was such a pleasure to work with, Ida. She always had a warm smile for everyone and her kind heart and spirit was so appreciated. Ida, you will be one of those souls who is always alive and here next to us. Rest in peace and enjoy your red roses in Heaven.

I'll always remember Ida as softspoken, very kind individual who was excellent at her job. Whenever any "Field" people needed help, she was always there.

So thankful I got to know and work with Ida. One word sums up the relationship I enjoyed with her: kindness. She always had a smile for me and was so helpful when I needed some information from our Construction group. What a beautiful person we were blessed to know and work with. TYL
