Idolo Andrew Rullo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Idolo Andrew Rullo, age 60, who left us peacefully on June 24, 2025. Born on February 1, 1965, in the Bronx, NY, Idolo touched the lives of many during his time with us and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Idolo was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Giovanna Rullo, whom he married on August 6, 1989, at Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx. Giovanna survives him and will carry forward their cherished memories and the love they built together.
An industrious professional, Idolo worked as a Sales Manager in the automobile industry, devoting his career to Healey. He was proud of his accomplishments, yet it was the bonds he forged with family, friends, and colleagues that brought him the greatest joy.
In addition to his professional life, Idolo found pleasure in the simple joys of life. He loved visiting casinos and enjoyed vacations in Florida. A proud New York Yankees and Knicks fan, he often gathered with loved ones, cheering on his teams with spirited enthusiasm. Idolo also found peace and happiness in his backyard pool, creating a welcoming oasis for friends and family.
Idolo is survived by his beloved wife, Giovanna; his dear mother, Rocca Rullo; his devoted sons, Anthony, Vito and his girlfriend Jaimie, Michael and his fiancé Jasmine, and Nico and his girlfriend Lauryn; his grandchildren, Emma Rose and Matthew Francis; and his sister, Luci Muschitello. He was predeceased by his father, Angelo Rullo; and his brother, Andrew.
Family and friends are invited to honor Idolo's memory during visitation at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM where we will celebrate his life and the love he shared with all of us.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
In this time of sorrow, we also take a moment to celebrate the vibrant life of Idolo Andrew Rullo-a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on our hearts. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and unwavering spirit. May he rest in peace.
