Born 4/24/35 born to eternal life on 11/7/25
Sonora birthed her, Chihuahua raised her and Chicago and Arlington made her the happiest! A true woman of faith who leaves a strong faith in our creator, mother of 11 children, Alicia Acosta, Guillermo Rodriguez, Rosaluz Torres, Domingo Rodriguez, Adriana Rodriguez, Rosario Musil, Elia Rodriguez, Olaya Rodriguez, Sully Lee, Karla Villa-Rodriguez and Karina Rodriguez and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves us with a devotion to our mother Mary who was her inspiration to be the best mother she could be, and a strong family bond among her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ignacia lived for God, her late husband Guillermo who called her my conejita Espanola (my Spaniard bunny) and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her joy was to pray and see everyone in her family happy, healthy and prosperous. She was very proud of everyone in her family and celebrated each of their accomplishments but first and foremost always acknowledging and thanking God for that. She was loved by her siblings, nieces, nephews, friends and long extended family. She loved all of them very much and always prayed for them but if you mentioned a specific prayer request oh boy she was interceding for you hard and loud! She celebrated their birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, showers and “just because events” happily with a new outfit and shoes. She was known for her good taste and eye for style and jewelry. She had her beauty routine, she had to have a hair perm monthly until she couldn’t have one anymore during her last months. She liked getting her manis and pedis and believe me people noticed and commented on what a beautiful and classy lady she was all the time. She loved to travel and shop, and let me tell you there’s a purse in her closet for almost every girl in the Rodriguez Gallegos dynasty. She had a genuine and loud laugh and was very expressive and honest, well too honest at times! She had a lot of sayings that she lived by i.e,”Guillermo ya se te salio el aire” “
