Ilean J. Moore, age 83, of Baxter, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at her home. She was born to Edwin and Katherine Vogel on February 3, 1942. Ilean was born and raised in Farnhamville, IA. In 1962, Ilean married her high school sweetheart, Darold Moore. Together they had 3 daughters, Kari, Heidi, and Kristina (Kris). In 1972 Darold and Ilean settled in the Brainerd Lakes area to raise their three girls. In 2007, she retired from InFisherman where she had worked for 25 years. In their retirement, she and Darold enjoyed their lake home, "the cabin", on Man Lake in northern Minnesota. She was a member of Salem Lutheran church in Deerwood and past member of Salem Lutheran church in Longville. Ilean enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading as well as her many social activities with the Ladies of the Lake, Birthday Babes and longtime friends and family, often seen playing games and having coffee.

Ilean was proceeded in death by her husband, Darold. She is survived by her daughters: Kari (Craig) Henningson of Aitkin, MN; Heidi (Keith Cory) Moore of Middleton, ID; and Kristina (Tim) Juaire of St. Joseph, MN; 6 grandchildren: Cory (Kya) Henningson, great grandsons Logan and Lincoln Picha; Carman (Colten) Sunde; Austin Cory, Christopher Huffman; Ashley (Jeremy) Thene, great granddaughter, Blake; and Zachary Juaire, and great grandson, Archer.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. Visitation will start at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Township Cemetery near Rinard, IA, at a later date. Memorials may be sent to: Family of Ilean Moore, 23253 County Road 30, Aitkin, MN 56431.
