Ilene Foxe Obituary

Ilene (Tooter) Foxe, born in Newark, NJ, and living in Carteret, NJ, until moving to Knoxville, passed away the night of November 13, 2021 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center following a short battle with cancer. She was 72 years young and most proud of being a loving grandmother to Justin Slater (7). She is also survived by daughter Christina Slater, brother Harvey and sister-in-law Jean Tooter, as well as nieces and nephews and other extended family members. She will be joining husband, James B. Foxe, parents Jerry and Norma Tooter as well as other family and friends in heaven. There will be a graveside service and burial at Union Cumberland Cemetery, in Farragut, TN on November 16th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.
