Ilona Kingston, a loving Mother and Grandmother in Zion,
passed away at the age of 84 on November 3, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah of cancer.

She was born on December 16, 1940, in Bountiful, Utah to Clyde and Ardous Kingston Gustafson.

Survived by brothers: Ellery and John – sisters: Mary, Ruth, Angela, Shauna, Susan, Jeanne, Karen, Rachel, and Noralee – family: Larry, Eve, Anna, Lizette, Lyle, Stardust, Stephanie, Dale, Eden, Lynn, Janie, Hannah, Diana, Terry, Amanda, Rachelle, Randy, Jamie, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00am – 12:00pm
LDCC Chapel
1880 Parkway Boulevard, West Valley City, Utah
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm
and the day of the service one-hour prior at the place of service.

Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery

If you’re reading this, you know, my time on earth is gone.
And now at last I’m called upon to join the heavenly throng.
I’d like to feel along the way; I’ve left no sign of wrong.

It’s a long way from beginning; I was born inside a tent.
I hope the Lord will tell me, that my life on earth’s well spent.

And after having lived this life, I’d like the world to find.
Some special work, some special gift, my soul has left behind.

And also of my journey, I’d like to hear them say,
She had a special purpose, and she did it all God’s way.

To my loved ones gone before me, I hope they’ll hold the door for me,
To live with them in heaven above, and continue our journey filled with love.

To all my friends and family, I love you, every one.
And to my Lord and Master, I hope you say, “Well done.”
