A private funeral service is scheduled for Ima "Jo" Bailey, 100, of Cleburne. Burial will take place in DeLeon Cemetery.
Ima "Jo" Bailey, a beloved figure in her community, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. Born on June 25, 1925, in DeLeon, Texas, Jo lived a life characterized by her big generous heart and unwavering faith.
Above all else, Jo's life was anchored in her devotion to Jesus, a guiding force that permeated her daily activities and interactions. Jo spent countless hours serving the community at her church, Pentecostal Family Church. She cherished the moments spent with family. Jo was known not just for her family ties but also for her zest for life. She loved to walk and exercise, often seen enjoying the simple pleasures like a good cup of coffee. Her warm spirit and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marcellous and Wilton Bibby, along with her nine siblings, who she dearly missed throughout her life.
Jo is survived by sons, Steve Bailey and his wife Nelda, Terry Bailey and his wife Ann, Bill Bailey and his wife Nancy, and Joseph Bailey. Her daughters, Judy Carver and her husband Jim, Helen Bradford, Jo Nell Jones and her husband Larry, and Sheri Fergason and her husband Luke; 16 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Jo's legacy will forever live on in the hearts she touched and the family she so lovingly nurtured.
