Imogene Freeman Obituary
Graveside: 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Fairview Cemetery, in Apache, Oklahoma. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, at Mount Olivet Chapel in the Breyley Suite.
Imogene was born October 3, 1930 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. In 1950 she and her husband moved to California where they raised their family. After retiring in 1988 her passion for quilt making blossomed. It is believed that she made over 600 quilts.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Ada Thompson; husband, Ray Freeman; three brothers Ray, William and Kenneth Thompson; sister, Donnis Thompson-Stice; daughter, Cheryl Freeman-Magorno; and her granddaughter, Kristy Kelley.
Survivors: Daughters, Andrea Love-Hight and husband, Nick of Saginaw, Texas, and Amber Freeman-Kelley of Roseburg, Oregon;so n, Douglas Freeman and wife, Allison of Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Jeanette Hosier, Katie Kelley, Steve Freeman, Jessica Freeman, Cinnamon Magorno, and Antonio Magorno; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Freida Thompson-Smittle and Zona Thompson-Williams.
