Imogene Louise Raley

Imogene Louise Raley, 87 of Mt. Washington, Ky. Passed away on Monday, November 3rd at her home. She was a member of Calvary Hill Separate Baptist Church.
Jean worked in the Mt. Washington Middle School Cafeteria for approximately 15 years. She sewed, knitted, crocheted and quilted many different things with love. She and her sister, JoAnn would set up at several craft shows per year to sell the many different items they both made. She was like her parents she never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by parents, James and Gladys Emerson: one grandson: Chris Reed, one granddaughter: Amanda Reed and son in law: Davie Reed. One sister: Susie Peek.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years: Carl Raley. One son: Larry Raley. Two daughters: Shelia Raley and Nita Reed (Doug Jones); siblings, Carroll Dean Emerson, Murrell Thomas Emerson (Connie), JoAnn Miller (John) and R.C. Emerson: many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral will be Monday at 2:00 pm at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Monday from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington. Serving as her pallbearers will be R.C. Emerson, Daniel Padgett, Andrew Peek, Doug Jones, John Miller and Garland Phillippe.
