Imojene Marie Willhite

Imojene Marie Willhite, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. She was born on September 30, 1937, in Colorado to Guy and Lucille Jones. Imojene was married to the love of her life, Edwin Willhite, and together they raised a beautiful family. She dedicated more than 20 years of her career to Safeway, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and kind spirit. Outside of work, Imojene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved bowling with friends and spending time outdoors, especially picking vegetables at Miller Farms, a pastime that brought her great happiness.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Cheryll and Myrna; her siblings, Robert and Phyllis; and her many grandchildren, including Michael Johnson, Michael Dunlap, Travis, Justin, Andrea, Josh, Diane, Bobby, Tammy, Michelle, and several others. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Lane, Cheyann, Angel, Amanda, Nigil, Nick, and Chey/Nay, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Imojene was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Willhite; her parents, Guy and Lucille Jones; her children, Blake, Sabina, Brenda, Ramona, and Willis; her sibling, Eleanor; and her grandchild, Jaime.

A service to honor and celebrate Imojene's life will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Staging Area Blue) on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Imojene will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
