Ina Kay Sawitz

Ina Kay Sawitz, 68, crossed the threshold on January 19th at Paoli hospital. She was born on June 10th, 1954 to Peter and Ilse Sawitz. After graduating from Camphill Special School in Glenmore she became one of the earliest members of Camphill Village Kimberton Hills. Ina was a joyful, generous, affectionate, and playful member of the community touching the hearts of all who met her. She loved dancing, music, plays and concerts. She loved to make a house a home, wove pieces on a loom by hand, made mosaics, regularly won recognition for her hand spun yarn, and spent years working in the herb garden. Ina is survived by her brother Allen, brother Eric and his wife Gail Stone, niece Nicole, her husband Andrew Felper, niece Beth, her husband Brian Doucet and their sons Nolan and Joel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camphill Village Kimberton Hills in her memory. There will be a celebration of Ina's life at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills on June 10th (her favorite day of the year).
