Ina B. Soberri, 91, of Wenona, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 at Arc of Streator.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday October 8, at the Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona with Rev. Will Meachum officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wenona. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of services.
Ina was born in Oxly, Missouri on November 29, 1933 to Frank and Nannie (Bridgeforth) House. She married John Soberri on May 19, 1960. She worked at the Toluca Garment Factory where she would cut out lining for suits. She was also the Union Steward for the employees at the factory and took the job very seriously.
Ina enjoyed quilting, sewing, and reading.
She is survived by her husband, John of Wenona; one daughter, Rhonda (Randy) Kakara of Streator; two sons, Ron Soberri of Ottawa and Tony (Carol) Soberri of Westfield, WI; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Anna Mae (Bill) Miller Roan Mountain, TN, Henrietta (Bob) Irvine of Portage, IN, Bonnie Ethridge of Shorewood, IL., and Mary Ann Green of Lake Panasoffkee, FL; one brother, Walter House of Henry.
Ina was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Michael Graham and Roger Jackson; one granddaughter, Stephanie Soberri; one sister, Linda House; four brothers, Paul, Jack, Jake, and Frank House.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jacob and Nick Soberri, Gage Adlington, Tom Kakara, Phil Watland, Jeff Porter, and Xavier Keener.
