India Aleah Thompson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, India Thompson, who departed from this life October 4th, 2025, at the age of 16.
India was a junior at Holly Springs High School, where she excelled academically. When not in the classroom, India enjoyed baking, reading and crocheting. You could always find her with a book, or a spool of yarn in her hands. She loved children, especially her younger brother, and had a way of making every child feel special. India never met a stranger, and never walked away without a hug. She loved music and fashion, and making those around her smile.
India's legacy will be one of love, kindness and passion. She will be remembered for her warm smile, compassionate heart, and a laugh that would light up the room. She was a self-proclaimed 'goofball,' who touched the lives of everybody who knew her.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate India's life will be held on October 18, 2025 at 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, located at 2540 N. Broad Street, Fuquay Varina. Visitation will take place prior to the service, starting at 11am.
We kindly ask everybody to wear something that is pale pink, whether it be an accessory or article of clothing. This is India's favorite color, and we know she'll be smiling, looking down on all of us.
