Ines S. Gerstenblatt

Ines S. Gerstenblatt, 96, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Born in Meriden, Connecticut on May 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Yetta Gerstenblatt. She was a graduate of Meriden High School. Ines was a secretary at Lyon & Billard Co. for many years prior to retiring. After her retirement, she volunteered at the Meriden Wallingford Hospital.
Ines was very devoted to family and felt blessed to have the love and care of cousins, Mark and Donna Grossman, David and Evelyn Grossman, Jeremey, Karen, and Abigail Grossman. Ines was predeceased by four sisters, Rose, Leah, Pauline and Beatrice.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Sunday, December 28th at 11:00 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden with Rabbi Marcy Bellows officiating. Burial will be in B'Nai Abraham Cemetery in Meriden. Should friends desire, contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of their choosing. The family would like to thank Dr. Nadkarni and her staff for the care and compassion shown to Ines for many years.
