Inez S. Henderson

Mrs. Inez Henderson, 265 Martindale Dr, died February 27, 2008.Her funeral service will be held Saturday 2 PM at the Haley Chapel at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Nancy Scarbrough and Dr, David Hendrix officiating.A native of Waycross, and born to the late Newton and Priscilla Odom Sloan, Mrs. Henderson had lived in Albany for a number of years. She was a charter member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, a graduate of Moultrie High School and Freeman Business College. Mrs. Henderson was a member of the XYZ Club and the Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Henderson.The family wants to extend a special thanks to caregivers Linda Cutts and Cynthia Phillips and to the Albany Community Hospice staff for all they did during Mrs. Henderson's illness.Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Henderson Hardy and husband Carroll, Richmond Hill; son Edwin H. Henderson and wife Cheryl, Lee County; grandchildren, Cynthia Barr Lowery and husband Robert, Lee County, Wendy Barr Corbin and husband Tom, Savannah, Tricia Barr Ainsworth and husband Kevin, Savannah, David Henderson, Lee County, Donald "Chip" Henderson and wife Becky, Mathews, NC and Danny Coudriet and his wife Kari of Collierville, TN; great grandchildren, Katie Gilmer, Kristen Gilmer, Natalie Corbin, Knox Corbin, Olivia Ainsworth, Hope Ainsworth, Samuel Henderson and Mathew Henderson, Chelsea, Kyle, Zachary and Cole Coudriet.The family will receive friends Friday 6 to 8 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.Those desiring please make memorials to Albany Community Hospice, P O Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702 or to Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church, 2200 Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31707.
