Inez Martin Mathis

Inez Martin Mathis, age 89, was born and raised in Cumming, GA to the late Hubert and Madge Martin on September 28, 1935. She passed away on March 1, 2025, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a loyal member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Mathis; son, Rex Mathis; son-in-law, Troy Milford; sisters, Juanita Shadburn, Opal Mathis, Louise Jones, Eulene Tinsley; brother, Roy Martin.

Inez is survived by her daughter, Gail Milford; son, Terry (Diana) Mathis; grandchildren, Corey (Elaine) Milford, Melissa (Tracy) Vaughan, Emily (Jaryd) Blackwell, Chase (Liz) Mathis; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Jamison Milford, Paige, Isabella, and Lillian Vaughan, Emilyn and Eastyn Blackwell, Beckham and Palmer Mathis; sisters, Joyce (Roger) Seay, Marie Barnes; brother, Roger (Karen) Martin; brother-in-law, Hugh Tinsley; as well as many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.
