Inge Beata "Ginger" Nelson

Inge "Ginger" Nelson, age 97, of Silver Lake, KS passed away Sunday, January 4 th,2026. Ginger was born December 10 th, 1928, in Phillippsburg, Germany, Ingeburg Beata Schwarzmuller, the daughter of Angela and Albert Schwarzmuller.

At the age of seven she came to the United States to live with her parents in Brooklyn, New York. Ginger became a naturalized US Citizen October 6, 1959 as Inge Beata Reaser. She married Keith W Reaser in 1949 and moved to Topeka, KS. Together they had four children; Lynn Karen Robison, Silver Lake, KS; Victoria Kay Norris, Kansas City, MO; Kary William Reaser, Deceased 2010; and Clint Eric Reaser, Rogers, AR. They later divorced.

Ginger married Evan "Kirby" Nelson April 17, 1992. Kirby and Ginger enjoyed 20 years together and living six months a year in Florida and six months in Rogers, AR. Kirby passed away in 2012. She always enjoyed dancing and traveling.

Ginger was a housewife and mother to her children when they were young. Later she worked at Goodyear offices in Topeka, KS. She moved to Bentonville, AR and worked at the Walmart offices.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother; her husband Kirby Nelson; a son, Kary Reaser; and a greatgrandson, Thomas Anderson. Ginger is survived by three children, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Arrangements are with Angels Above Cremation Services of Topeka , KS. A celebration of life will be at Beaver Lake, near Rogers, AR at a later time.
