Iona Neikirk Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Freeman Neikirk, Jr.; her parents, Chester James and Flora Beatrice Robinson Pugh; her son, Christopher John Neikirk; and her grandson, Stephen Zane Anderson.
Survivors include her son, Eric (Candace) Neikirk; daughters, Lorrie (Verlon Liles) Neikirk Anderson and Mandy (Robert) Shearer; six grandchildren, Michael Chase Anderson, Peyton Neikirk, Logan (Felicity) Neikirk, Maddox Neikirk, Amelia Shearer and Clara Shearer; and great-grandson, Nolan Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Enclave Club House, 950 Channel View Lane, Chattanooga, TN 37415. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pet Placement Center of Red Bank, Tennessee (www.petplacementcenter.com).
