Ira Jaques Obituary
Jake was born on July 3, 1940, in Lowell, Oregon, to Ira Jaques and Lena Carter. He married Rena Jaques in April 1974 in Springfield, Oregon, and together they built a life together.
Jake and Rena always referred to their children as yours mine and ours-Tony, Paul, Renee, Yvonne, Warren Dale, Theresa, Kim, Wayne, and Deanna.
He cherished his grandchildren Marissa Gingell, Shawn, Bricen, and Lily Bell, maintaining close and loving relationships with each, and his great-grandchildren Callie and Remi Bell, who lived nearby and brought him endless joy.
Jake spent most of his career working in the Oregon Mountains, doing what he loved best-logging amidst the beauty of nature. Later, he transitioned to truck driving, traveling locally and across the open roads, forming lifelong friendships along the way.
This summer, Jake's family will take him home to Oregon for a Celebration of Life in July to honor his memory and the life he loved.
Jake will be remembered for his hard work, his love of the outdoors, and the warmth and humor he shared with all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
