Irene Kepich Bubblo, 64, of West Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston, Irene was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna Lee Kepich. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and worked at Kappa Graphics, where she met her husband and the love of her life, Joe; they were married for 36 years.
Irene was a loving wife, mother, and sister who enjoyed crocheting, shopping, and watching old television reruns. She was also a dedicated volunteer for her children's activities, including the Special Olympics and the Wyoming Area marching band.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Kepich, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Peggy and Dave Bubblo.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; son, Joe Jr.; daughter, Brittany; sisters, Joanne Koza, Catherine Walsh, and Anne Lee Thacker; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Monica Parish, 363 W. Eighth St., West Wyoming, with the Rev. Peter Tomczak officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Family and friends are invited to attend Irene's viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
