In Loving Memory of Irene Anne Eadie, June 20, 1937-July 7, 2025. It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Anne Eadie, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend. Growing up in Chicago as the fifth (and a twin) of seven children, Irene developed a deep and enduring devotion to her family. She always knew she was loved by her brothers and sisters: the late Loretta Mae (Verne) Wellman, the late James M. (Diane and the late Marilyn), the late William J., the late John D. (Carol), Daniel B. (the late Mary) and the late Richard J. Hanrahan. Irene said, "I always knew I was loved because of them. How lucky we were to have each other."

Irene was truly blessed. In 1961, she married the love of her life, Robert J. Eadie. Together, they shared 19 wonderful years filled with love, joy, and unwavering devotion. Robert was her source of endless joy until his passing in 1980. Family meant everything to Irene. She was the proud mother of 3 daughters, Karyn (Thomas) Kozyra, Lori Jean Eadie and Jill (Pasquale) Mastrodomenico who brought immense pride and joy to her life. She was a cherished grandmother to Amy (Robert) Wardzala, Robert (Erika) and Kenneth Kozyra, Vincent, Gina and Brianna Mastrodomenico. She was also a great-grandmother to Thomas and Madelyn Wardzala, and Henry Kozyra. Irene was also known as "Aunt Ree" to her many nieces and nephews.

Irene's memory will live on in the hearts of her wide circle of family and dear friends. She will be remembered for her love, smile, laugh, heartfelt hugs, and the kindness and compassion she extended to everyone she met. Family and friends to gather Monday, July 14, 2025 for memorial visitation 9:30AM until time of Memorial Mass 11:30AM at

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to honor her with an act of kindness. Irene often said, 'It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice-because nice matters.' Please also consider donating to the charity of your choice. Let us gather to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman whose love and light will remain with us always. Rest peacefully, dearest Irene.

We spent so many days with Irene at Pebble Beach. Those days were filled with laughter, wonderful conversations, and moments that seemed to pause time. Irene had a way of making everyone feel at ease, and her presence brought a warmth and light that will be deeply missed.
We pray for all her family and friends and know that she is in heaven watching over all.
