Irene Eberline, 95, of Oscoda, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side, on September 15, 2025. She was born on March 11, 1930, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to the late Alta and Don Gauthier.

Irene made her home in Oscoda for the past 63 years after moving from Taylor, Michigan. A proud high school graduate, she dedicated her life to raising her family and also worked for a time at the Oscoda K-Mart.

Irene will be remembered for her devotion to family, her love of simple joys, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. Family was always the center of Irene's world. She loved crocheting, doing puzzles, and spending time playing cards and board games with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed living in the Oscoda Senior Condos, where she developed many close friendships.

Irene is survived by her children: Harry (Kimleigh) Eberline of Mikado, MI; Dave (Penny) Eberline of Oscoda, MI; Shelly (Don) Almy of Oscoda, MI; Bob (Darlene) Eberline of Desert Hot Springs, CA; Karen (Marty) McKee of Torrington, WY; Joe (Linda) Eberline of Greenbush, MI; and Marie (Dan) Ferchak of Harrisville, MI. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Eberline; son Kim Eberline; daughter Lori Valerio; grandchild Ronnie Carraway; great-grandchildren Ry Rourke, Ty Rourke, and Kayla Eberline; her parents Alta and Don Gauthier; sister Dorothy Forest; and brothers Robert and Roger Gauthier.

A mass will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, 11:00 AM, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a luncheon to follow.
