Irene Potoski

Irene Potoski (nee Sidorowicz), age 71, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Harmony's Hospice in Cleveland.
She was born in Lorain on December 20, 1950 to Zigmunt and Genevive Sidorowicz.
She graduated from Admiral High School in 1968 and attended Lorain County Community College.
She had the honor of being one of the first Lorain International Queens and also Miss Lorain County.
She was a past member of Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain.
Her passion was music and she was an excellent vocalist and keyboard player. She and her husband, Ron, together known as "Fresh Touch", played at different venues in the Cleveland area and later on cruise ships. After she retired from that, she taught piano lessons for several years.
She was preceded in death by her father Zigmunt, mother Genevieve, and brother Frank Sidorowicz.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Potoski of Cleveland, sister Diane (Orest) Lesiuk of Lorain, brother Richard (Luc) Sidorowicz of Florida, brother Ralph Sidorowicz of California, niece Allison (Brant) Mims of Virginia, niece Laura (Greg) Canada of Tennessee and nephews Joel Kastl of Lorain, Mark Lesiuk of Lorain, and Craig (Kelly) Sidorowicz of Florida. And several great-nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 418 West 15th Street Lorain, Ohio, one hour until time of services at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022 with Fr. Craig Hovanec officiating.
