Irene Rivera Obituary
She went home with JESUS, December 26, 2025.
She was known for her kindness, humor, and for being a social butterfly. She was a fantastic cook and loved cooking for her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo and loved to dance. She will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Beatrice Rivera.
Irene leaves to cherish her memory her 2 sons. Vincent Corpus of Washington Park, IL and Jose Diaz of Granite City, IL; 1 daughter Connie Cañas of Arlington, VA.; 1 daughter-in-law, April Diaz of Granite City, IL.; 7 grandchildren, Mauricio Cañas, Claire (Corey) Gray, Nicholas Corpus, Dominic Corpus, Kelly Diaz, Cristian Diaz, and Adriel Diaz; 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter, Iris Gray, four brothers, four sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
