Irene Silye Obituary
Irene I. Silye, age 100, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, in Grosse Ile, Michigan. She was born on February 21, 1926, in Detroit, Michigan.
A beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her 4 children, Ronald (Evelyn), Gary (Cynthia), Cary, Patricia and a Number of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Irene will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, Joseph, who preceded her in death in 1975 at Woodmere Cemetery in Detroit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Hungarian Reformed Church (313) 382-1001 in Allen Park or to Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church (734) 676-8811.
