Irfane Morava

Irfane Morava passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, in Lynn, MA, at the age of 86. Born in 1938 in Korçë, Albania, to Feim and Nadire Morava, Irfane's life was one marked by resilience, love, and generosity. She immigrated to the United States, where she built a close-knit family and a circle of friends who will remember her warmth and strength.
She leaves behind her devoted daughter, Irena Shehu, and her son-in-law, Kapllan Shehu, along with two beloved grandsons, Jonis and Andri Shehu, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her two dear sisters, Enverije and Tariko, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness.
A nurturing soul, Irfane dedicated much of her life to supporting her family and friends, always ready with a kind word or a warm meal. She found joy in knitting, especially for new babies in her family and community, a small but meaningful way she shared her love. Her legacy of compassion and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at the Murphy Funeral Home beginning at 11am followed immediately by a graveside service at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Danvers at 12pm. The service will conclude at Hawthorne Hotel for luncheon.
