Iris Ayers Obituary
Age 94, of East Canton died Friday, November 11, 2022 in Hall of Fame Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born March 18, 1928 in Athens County, Ohio to the late Leo and Clara (Cavey) Bailey. She was a Canton/East Canton resident most of her life. Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Ayers Jr in 2009; an infant daughter; two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by a son, Mark Ayers; a daughter, Brenda Bennage; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Patty (Fred) Glosner, Janice Strawn, Peggy (Bill) Clow; two brothers, Ronnie (Donna) Bailey, Richard (Sharon) Bailey. A graveside service will be Tuesday, Nov 15, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Rd, N. Canton, OH 44720.

Aunt Rose was always sweet and kind. I have fond memories of her giving me permanents as a young child. She had the prettiest smile and a joyful laugh that I will remember forever. RIP Aunt Rose
