Iris Boldrick Obituary
Iris was born January 29, 1921, in Crescent City, Florida, to the late Wilford D. Mew, Sr., and Sarah Elizabeth Agatha King Mew.
Family was very important to Iris and she will always be remembered by her family as a loving Mom and Grandmother who provided a comfortable and orderly home for her family to grow and thrive. Her creative pursuits included gardening and sewing. Her faith was very important to her and over the years she, along with her husband, spent many hours of volunteer service to their church. Above all, the one abiding passion throughout her life was for people to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Boldrick, Sr. (Bob); brother Wilford D. Mew, Jr. (Bunk); sister Geneva Mew Thorn Grisham (Snookie); and nephew Bill Mew.
She is survived by daughter Vi Newbold, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; son Irwin Boldrick, Crescent City, FL; daughter Debbie Ford, Dahlonega, GA; son Terry Boldrick, Astor, FL; daughter Teresa Jones, Deland, FL; grandchildren Scott Newbold, Shalimar, FL; Craig Newbold, Roswell, GA; Melissa Joiner, Gainesville, FL; Angie Gordon, Franklin, TN; Tarra Kros, Cypress, TX; Travis Boldrick, St. Augustine, FL; great-grandchildren Kirk, Joanna, and Kevin Newbold; Hannah, Haley, Haven, and Harris Newbold; Bailey and Emily Joiner; Nickolas and William Jones; Aston Kros; Zane, Coralyn, and Roen Boldrick; nieces Connie M. Byers, Marsha T. Hagstrom, and nephew Teddy Thorn.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at First Baptist Church,101 S. Summit St., Crescent City, FL 32112, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 P.M. also at First Baptist Church, 101 S. Summit St., Crescent City, FL 32112.
Memorial donations may be sent in her memory to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 728, Crescent City, FL 32112, or Samaritans Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.

We send our deepest condolences in the loss of such a very special lady. Mrs. Boldrick was truly one of the finest women we had the pleasure of knowing. She shared such peace in her life, joy in her heart, and immeasurable love to all. We shall miss her so very much.

We are so sorry to hear this. We were neighbors for 17 years. We have wonderful memories of our visits together outside in her yard or in her pretty living room over looking the lake. We loved hearing the stories of her house and family and she would always have us say a prayer after our visit. She was such a sweet, caring person and she loved our dog, Nala.
