Carlson, Iris T. age 82, of Steeple Pointe, formerly of Brooklyn Center. Preceded in death by husband, John L.; son, Larry Carlson; sister, Eileen Bender; and nephew, Patrick Bender. Survived by children, Sheila (Ron) Weingartz, Penny (Leonard) Weingartz, Terry Carlson (Diane Combs), and John (Colleen) Carlson; grandchildren, Alicia (Chris) Custer, Robert Pracher, John Pracher, Kurt Carlson, and Ryan Carlson; great-granddaughter, Anastasia Custer; and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5900 W. Lake St., St. Louis Park. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Tuesday at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
