Funeral Services for Mrs. Iris Brashear Hubbard are Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hubbard, 77 years old, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Jackson General Hospital. She had her Master of Education and was an educator at various locations. She is a member of First Presbyterian U.S.A.
She is survived by her husband Reverend Doctor Julius Pratt Hubbard of McKenzie, two sons Lt. Colonel Julius Pratt (Jay) Hubbard, III of Lee’s Summit, MO and Edward Augustine Hubbard of Henry, a sister Joy Brashear of McKenzie, two grandchildren Autumn Sky Hubbard and Melanie Grace Brewer.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Annabelle Gatley and brother Ed Brashear.
