Irma Louise Eckles

Irma Louise Eckles, of West Fork, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 93 years old. She was born on December 12, 1931, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Arthur Eugene and Grace Ellen (Bates) Strong. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Gano Reed; her last husband Wesley Eckles; granddaughter Christina Reed; sisters Dorothy Bailey, Esther Black, Barbara Chisholm' and brother Harvey Strong.
Irma was a wonderful musician and was faithful to her church in Winslow for many years. She then became a member of the First Baptist Church in West Fork, where she remained faithful for many more years. She was a loving mother and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Irma is survived by her children; Kenny Reed & wife Christina, Sylvia Clifton & husband Kim, and David Reed; grandchildren Jeremy Johnson, Christian Johnson, Nathan Clifton, Dustin Clifton, Bill Krejci, Jeremiah Person, and Scott Reed; brother Gordon Strong; sister Norma Kristen Hopper; and many other family members and loved ones.
Graveside service will be Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
