Imogene Williams, 92, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Prairie Grove Health and Rehab Center.

She was born on April 13, 1933, in Mossville, Arkansas, to the late Virgil Edgmon and Annie (Reynolds) Edgmon. On January 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Fletcher Williams, and together they shared 60 years of devotion and companionship before his passing.

Imogene worked many years for Shakespeare as a fishing reel assembler. She was a faithful member of Fayetteville First Freewill Baptist Church for approximately 50 years. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed quilting and crocheting, but her greatest joys came from reading and spending time with her beloved family. Imogene was a devout believer in Christ. She was known for her kind demeanor and seemingly unending patience.

She is survived by her son, Mike Williams and wife, Pat, of Farmington, Arkansas; her daughter, Kayla Dickson and husband, James, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Micah Miller (Morgan), Sean Dickson, Brandon Williams and Lindsey Fredrick (Bradley); and three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cooper, and Oakley Fredrick; her brother, Don Edgmon, and sister, Shirley Edgmon, both of Mossville, Arkansas; along with many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fletcher Williams; her brothers, Johnny Edgmon and Jerry Edgmon, and her sister, Wanda Wheeler.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to start at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Preston Beeks will officiate the service.
