Irma Ann Gregory

Irma Ann Gregory, 98, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday, September 2, 2024, at Windsor Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
She was born August 30, 1926, in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Earl Paul Clinkenbeard and Pansy Ann (Weathers) Clinkenbeard. On December 21, 1941, she married Glen Wallace Gregory in Clinton, Mo., and he preceded her in death on June 12, 1998.
She worked as a seamstress all her life. She worked at the International Shoe Factory in Windsor and also for the Higginsville Garment Co. for 18 years. She continued doing sewing for others in her retirement. She loved to quilt and enjoyed music and dancing. Spending time outdoors going fishing, camping, hiking, looking for rocks, and traveling were also things she enjoyed. She was a member of the Hickory Chapel Methodist Church and then the Windsor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Marvin R. Gregory, Windsor, Mo.; 3 daughters, Lois E. Blankenship, Windsor, Mo., Shirley J. Register, Higginsville, Mo., and Donna L. Lockhart, Higginsville, Mo.; 6 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl S. Clinkenbeard, Aurora, Colorado; a sister, Eleanor Jean Harms, Clinton, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons Lloyd Wayne Gregory in childhood and Roy L. Gregory; a son-in-law, Darrell Blankenship; 2 brothers in infancy; and 2 sisters, Edna Wescott and Rosemarie Hunsaker.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 1030 a.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
