Stephanie Pircher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hadley Funeral Home - Windsor from Jan. 20 to Jan. 21, 2026.
Stephanie Elizabeth Pircher, born May 17, 1990, passed away suddenly on January 18, 2026. Though her time on this earth was far too short, her impact was immeasurable.

Stephanie was the youngest child in the United States diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, and from the very beginning she defied expectations. Year after year, she blazed new paths of what was believed possible, surpassing milestones and inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to perseverance, courage, and joy.

Stephanie was endlessly happy and deeply loving. She was a devoted "dog mom" to her beloved Pomeranians, found peace and happiness in coloring, and carried a contagious laughter that made others laugh right along with her. She loved her family fiercely and was always the first to offer forgiveness and kindness.

She is survived by a large family: her loving mother, Donna Sue Pircher; her Uncle John Merrifield, and Aunt June McKenzie, her older sisters and younger brother; Frankie Pircher and partner, James Banks; Laura Baker and spouse, Larry Baker; Maggie Pircher and partner, Nick McWilliams; and Jeff Pircher and spouse, Suzanne Pircher. She will forever be adored and remembered by her many nieces and nephews who brought her endless pride and joy - Ethan, Drew, and Quincy (Frankie Pircher); Lana, Connor, Graham, and Lucy (Laura and Larry Baker); Sean, Kaydance, Makena, Colin, and Wren (Maggie Pircher and Nick McWilliams); Oliver and Maeve (Jeff and Suzanne Pircher).

Stephanie's legacy is one of love without limits, joy without condition, and strength beyond measure. She will forever live on in the hearts of all those who loved her - and in the laughter she shared so freely.

Her family will have a private Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests contributions to Prader-Willi Syndrome Association USA.
