Irma Hernandez-Reyes Obituary
Irma Hernandez-Reyes, 88, passed away, peacefully Friday, February 9, 2024 at Saybrook Landing.
She was born January 31, 1936 in Juncos, Puerto Rico the daughter of the late Ildefonso and Antonia (Reyes) Hernandez.
Irma was a seamstress in Puerto Rico and most recently was a caregiver. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren. She was a member of the Tabernacle Church on Main Ave. Most of all she looked forward to spending time with her family.
Irma is survived by her daughter, Evelyn (Erwin Rodriguez) Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Milagros Hernandez; siblings, Julia Hernandez, Luz Maria Hernandez, Hilda Hernandez, Carmen Delia Hernandez, and Zoilo Hernandez; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Hernandez-Perez, Sr.; son, Pedro Hernandez, Jr.; siblings, Orlando, Ernesto, Arturo, Felicita, Bartolo and Isabel Hernandez; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 2:00PM at Ducro Service and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., where a calling hour will be held from 1PM until time of service at 2PM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.
