Irma Pierson Obituary
Irma L. Pierson, 93, peacefully went home to Heaven on December 24, 2025, in Nogales, Arizona. She will be cherished and remembered by her loving family, including her sons, Roberto Pierson (Rossana) and Henry Pierson (Virginia), as well as her daughters, Denise Pierson and Mily Fontes (Frank). Irma was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Gibran (Cristina) Hallal, Karim Hallal (Marsela) Hallal, Frank X. Fontes IV, Roberto, Dazia, Gabriela (Walberto Barrutia), Danitza (Aliben Dabdoub), Lizette (Arnold Madrid), and Andres Pierson. Additionally, she leaves behind seven great-grandchildren: Farah, Zara, and Kamil Hallal, Nicolas and Pablo Barrutia, and Ali Roberto and Sara Dabdoub.
Irma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roberto, and her daughter, Clarisa Pierson. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Athar Shaikh and his dedicated staff, Dr. William Thomas, and the team at Soulistic Hospice for their compassionate care.
In honor of Irma’s memory, the family requests that donations be made to Soulistic Hospice, a nonprofit service in Tubac, or to Lourdes Academy Catholic School in lieu of flowers.
Friends and family are invited to join the Mass Celebration in her honor on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lourdes Chapel, located at 555 E. Patagonia Hwy, Nogales, AZ 85621. Irma’s spirit will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
