Irma Lee Runyons

Irma Lee (Chapman-Cassady) Runyons, age 76 of Lexington, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the Sayre Christian Village. Irma was born on December 21, 1948 in Martin County, KY to the late Abraham and Stella Chapman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Runyons and one brother, Paul Faron Chapman.
Irma is survived by her son, Richard (Beth) Cassady, daughter, Lisa Lewis, three grandchildren, Bobby Cassady, Raegan Lewis and Kamryn Lewis and a new great-granddaughter, Flora; along with her children's, father, Thomas Cassady. Irma has been blessed to have an honorary granddaughter and caregiver, Amanda Wilburn. She is also survived by one brother, Bill (Cathy) Chapaman, four sisters, Rebecca Wefenstette, Marsha White, Vera (David) Lemaster and Pam (Michael) Muncy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez with Terry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at the Highlands Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 10:00am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Irmas memory to the Union United Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
