Irvin "Irv" Lee Bristow, 93, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Irv was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Crescent Springs, KY. He was a self-employed residential painter for most of his working years. Irv worked as a cook at several restaurants and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his children: Mike Bristow and Tina Bristow; several siblings and long-time companion: Patricia A. Schroder. Irv is survived by his children: Ruthie Bristow and Amy Brandenburg; siblings: Dorothy "Dee dee" Colston and Jimmy Bristow; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the Catholic Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to Kenton County Animal Services, 1020 Mary Laidley Road, Covington, KY 41017. Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 is serving the family.
