Irving Clark Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 26, 2025.
Irving A. Clark, Jr. was born in camden, New Jersey, to the late Irving A. Clark, Sr., and Elizabeth Nelson (Clark) on March 26, 1951. He loved to work with his hands and had a gift for figuring thiings out on a whim. He held several maintainance and contracting jobs until he stepped out on faith and started his own contracting business, Calrk Developing Group. Irving was very good at that he did and enjoyed putting smiles on people's faces by doing his best work and ensuring that his workers did the same. After several years of running his business successfully, Irving's passion shifted to promoting breast acncer awareness, after the loss of his morhter, Elizabeth, and two sisters, Brenda and Barbara to breast cancer. He dedicated his life to helping others though the non-profit formed by his family, Clark Family Breast Cancer Services. He worked closely alongside his wife, Maria and family to promote breast cancer awareness and early detection for uninsired and medically underserved women in his community. His passion for sharing the importance of early detection was undeniable, and his committment to service touched countless lives as he and his family celebrated 20 years of service this past October.
There are many things that can be said about our beloved Irving (Junie, as he was lovingly known to his family and close friends). He was a devoted husband, living father, caring mentor and loyal friend. He found true joy in uplifting others and made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Irving leaves to cherish his memory his wife, maria and his six children, Tamika, Nicole (Gorham) (Sidney), Irving III, Lisette, Marcus and Danielle. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Sydnee and Daniel Gorham, Tanasia and Ryon Muse, Liera and Mya. He leaves behind his sister, Darnetta Coleman (Terry) and his brother, Vincent Clark (Carol) along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Irving was preceded in death by his sisters, Evetter, Barbara, Brenda and Jacqueline and two brothers, Gregory and Vernon.
