Taylor: Funeral services for Irving "Dick" Jackson Taylor, 87, who passed away on April 5, 2023, will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 5755 Ramona Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205, with Rev. Randy R. Kisser officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-7 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home. Mr. Taylor was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. He was a Butcher by trade. Survivors include his loving wife, Faye Terrell Taylor; 8 daughters, Sherry Clark (Randy), Peggy Williams (Ron), Gina Clark, Pamela Fowler (Billy), Debbie Terrell (Tyrone), Yvonne Losco (David), Angie Coble and Lisa Hanson (Dale); 4 sisters, Shirley, Nancy, Cookie, and Rosemary; 1 brother, Coots Taylor; 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Serving as pallbearers, Dale Hanson, Dusty Hanson, Tristin Hanson, Mason Meadows, Tucker Meadows, John Lewis, Derrick Gibbons, Trent Coble and Brett Coble. Arrangements under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home. 4140 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, Florida 32216.
