Irwin Merle Davis, 66, of Ellijay, formerly of Alpharetta passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Irwin attended Forsyth County High School. He had moved to Ellijay after the loss of his best friend to care for his friend’s mother, Martha Wehunt. Irwin is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Annie Ruth Davis. He was loved by his family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his siblings and their spouses, Michael and Darlene Davis, Lynn and Jeff Gribble and Daniel and Pat Davis.
