Mrs. Sandra Sue Pelfrey Pratt, age 73, of Ellijay, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, with her loving family at her side.
Mrs. Pratt was born in Calhoun, GA, April 14, 1952, daughter of the late Dollie Sue Howell Pelfrey and Jesse William Pelfrey. Sandra was also preceded in death by her son, Randy O’ Berry, daughter, Cassie O’Berry Rayburn, and father-in-law, Glenn Pratt. She was a deeply faithful Christian whose life was rooted in her love for the Lord and her devotion to worship. A dedicated member of Old Faith Baptist Church, she found great joy and comfort in the Lord. Sandra enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching, creating beautiful pieces with patience and care. She cherished traveling to South Georgia with her husband to their hunting club, where many treasured memories were made. Above all, Sandra was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, whose kindness, faith, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her devoted and loving husband, Dwight Pratt of Ellijay; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley Weeks and Lynn Smith (Phillip), all of Adairsville; her mother-in-law, Martha Pratt; a brother-in-law, Tony Pratt; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM, from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Jason Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Adam Pasley, Jason Weeks, Anthony Shortnacy, Shane Parker, Phillip Smith, and Don Milsaps.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
