Mrs. Heather Danielle Bagley Stephens, age 35, of Rome, passed away Tuesday evening, March 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Heather was born December 7, 1990, in Cartersville, Georgia, daughter of Lisa Brunson Bagley and the late Edward “Eddie” Darnell Bagley. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her pawpaw and big mamma, Ed and Vivian Adams Bagley and her pawpaw and mawmaw, Tony and Donna Brunson.

Survivors include her loving husband Jerry Stephens; beloved, daughter, Madelyn Hope Stephens; mother, Lisa Brunson Bagley; uncle, Tony Brunson; aunts, Pam Brunson Sieber (Frank), Trina Bagley Hughes and Debra Bagley; mother-in-law, Denise Stephens (Sidonio Sanchez); sisters-in-law, Cassandra Stephens, Ashley Joiner (Jacob), and Amber Collard; sweet kitty cat and puppy-dog, Ashes and Darla, and several cousins and dear friends.

Heather was a woman with a precious heart and a strong-willed spirit who lived her life with love and devotion to those around her. She was of the Christian faith and carried that faith in the way she cared for others and put her family before herself. Heather was a loving wife, mother, and daughter who always placed the needs of her family first. She loved spending time with the people she cared about, never passing up a chance to laugh and have a good time together. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed working color puzzles and taking peaceful walks outside. Heather’s kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely will be treasured always by those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Heather’s life will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 1:00PM at Hamilton Crossing pavilions.
